Lovely location for exploring the somerset north devon location. Great if you love walks. Accommodation is brilliant, games room great and the cakes on arrival...... Yum!

We arranged a visit to stay at The Barn and Barn Owl for my husbands 40th birthday after being very disappointed at our trip abroad being cancelled at the last minute.  We were not disappointed however with our replacement. Set in a beautiful surrounding with amazing views and very close to the Devon border we were made to feel both safe with the current covid situation and very welcome. With gifts set out for us which were extremely generous and very clear instructions on arrival we were overwhelmed with just how beautiful the barns and area were. Even though the photos make it look beautiful you still cannot appreciate it until you are there. We took a few day trips to Devon as Dawlish Warren beach and Paignton zoo are only an hour away. On the day of his birthday we had a BBQ at the house and a fry up breakfast. Everything is provided tools wise even dishwasher tablets and BBQ lighters. The table was already arranged so we as a party of 12 could all sit around it including highchairs for the little one's and stair gates and extra outside chairs were  also out ready for our BBQ. I can honestly say we had the most enjoyable visit and both Val and Graham were so welcoming from a social distance space. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be looking to book again in the future.
