🌟 Lowtrow Cross Caravan Site: A Scenic Retreat 🌟 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, Lowtrow Cross Caravan Site offers a delightful blend of holiday homes and spacious pitches. Here’s my take on this charming site: 1. Warm Hospitality: The hosts radiate warmth and hospitality. Their quaint little on-site shop adds a personal touch, and being close to the local pub/restaurant is a bonus. 2. Facilities Well-Maintained: Kudos to the team for keeping the facilities in top shape. Clean showers, tidy bathrooms—everything you need for a comfortable stay. 3. Dog-Friendly: The enclosed dog walking area at the site’s bottom is a boon for our furry companions. Let those paws explore! 4. Steep Pitches, Bring Levellers: Now, about those pitches—some are steep. But fear not! Bring sizable levellers, or you might find yourself on a bit of a wonk. 😉 5. Signal Woes: Ah, the elusive mobile phone signal! It seems to be non-existent, causing frustration rather than delight. Keep that in mind. 6. Intermittent WiFi: The site’s WiFi dances to its own rhythm—sometimes strong, sometimes elusive. Don’t expect round-the-clock connectivity. Sadly this is what brought our review down as it was a frustration for us. In summary, Lowtrow Cross Caravan Site is picturesque and great if you are looking for a remote getaway whilst not wanting to rely on being connected to the outside world. 🏕️🌿

I stayed here a night along with two other bicycle tourists camping in a couple of tents, after our ringing up earlier in the day. The site managers were very friendly and helpful. The site is really well maintained and clean, with good showers, toilets and laundry facilities. The pitch was lush, if a teeny but sloping. Lovely and quiet with calming green views. The pub next door was a bonus.

The site was immaculate, toilets and showers very clean. Beautiful location with a really lovely pub next to it. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay as welcoming and friendly as possible and were so helpful and understanding when our motorhome broke down and had to be towed off the site, nothing felt inconvenient to them … can’t wait to go back

We enjoyed an excellent 10 day stay. A lovely quiet spot, great facilities and all superbly maintained by Rob and Karen, and relief wardens Angela and Simon. Thanks for your help and assistance with the technical issue on our caravan.

What a beautiful little site in such a stunning location. We had 2 nights here, had planned to do some exploring but the site was so quiet & peaceful we stayed sat in the sun listening to the birds singing. Rob & Kaz were both super friendly & helpful (thanks for the gravy granules!) facilities were immaculate. Great dog walking field. Highly recommend visiting. We can’t wait to visit again.

Really first class adults only site, well looked after and helped by the owners. Lovely small site, clean tidy and well maintained. Area to walk our dog. Had a great time, would visit again.

We spent the week here and had a great spot to do lots of exploring from. The shower block was the cleanest we have found on our travels so far. The 4 wardens were so friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do too much for you and they recommended some great places to visit. We were early in the season but with all the plants around the site I can imagine the colours that are going to be around later in the year. Walkability: Lots of walks near by

Excellent, well maintained quite site. The wardens, Rob & Karen were so helpful. Facilities were well kept and always clean. We were in our MH on Hardstanding pitch with great views. Definitely return in the future. Thanks guys.

Stayed here as a couple in a camper, and what a wonderful welcome we had, by Karen and Rob, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay , as was Angela and Simon, they couldn’t do enough for us, perfect team, the site is so beautiful and spotless, the wardens are constantly working to make it so, facilities spotless, with lovely little touches, with beautiful scenic views, lovely pub next door, perfect base for exploring Somerset
